Syd (Sydney G)

· Sep 6, 2023 ·

My name is Syd, and I am a double major in Political Science and English with a minor in Gender Studies on the Pre-Law track. I pride myself on an adaptable tutoring style that is student centered, and I create a safe space for all individuals, including those with learning disabilities, students whose first language is not English, neurodivergent students, and those unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the academic space. Whether you prefer face to face or online appointments, I will be sure to tailor our appointment time to your specific needs and focus on building confidence in your writing abilities. I am also the previous recipient of the Cynthia Kreiser Award for Outstanding Freshmen Writing and the W. Alton Bryant Scholarship Award. My interests include all things English and Political Science, but I also love working with students on a range of topics including history, African-American studies, gender studies, international studies, classics, public policy leadership, law, and criminal justice. I love reading, writing, all things music, Sci-Fi and fantasy, films, cooking, and hiking.
