Upcoming – Fall 2021

Use the links below to register to join us for in person or online workshops on a variety of writing topics. Whether you’re developing a research question or creating professional materials for the job market, we’ve got you covered. These sessions are interactive and discussion based. We’ll provide information and model strategies for developing new writing skills, but we will also take time for questions and give you a chance to work in small groups or one on one with writing consultants.

Gearing Up for Grad School

Join us for a live workshop on assembling materials for graduate school applications. During this workshop, we’ll cover:

  • Common requirements for graduate school applications
  • Crafting a statement of purpose/personal statement
  • Preparing/choosing an academic writing sample

There will be a brief Q&A along with the option to join breakout sessions to address individual/small group questions. Attendees will also receive a packet of supplemental resources from the workshop.
