I am a first year graduate student working on a Master’s Degree in Anthropology. I plan to study archaeology with a focus on the Mississippi River Valley during the Late Woodland (500-1000 CE) and Mississippian (900-1500 CE) periods. I’m excited for my time in Mississippi and at Ole Miss. While working at the writing center I hope to help students, meet new people, and learn from others. I was born and raised in Iowa, where most of my family still lives. I moved here with my boyfriend and cat to attend school. Back home I have seven siblings, two dogs, as well as a donkey and pony.
