This is Millie’s first semester working for the writing center. Currently, she is student teach at Pontotoc High School, and she loves reading, writing, and editing.

Caroline is Ph.D. Student in the English department. She has taught high school English, freshman writing, and worked as a writing consultant for several years. She enjoys American literature from 1920-present, and her current work focuses on exploring contemporary literature about Mississippi. When she’s not reading, she is spending time with her family and crazy dog—this likely involves travel and good food!

Shannon is a third-year graduate student in the English Department.

Olivia is a sophomore on the pre-optometry track from Biloxi, MS. My actual major is IMC, and I have minors in chemistry and general business. She enjoys science but love to write and be creative, so her track/major allows her to have the best of both worlds! Her favorite things to do in her free time are read, travel, go on walks/runs, scroll on Pinterest, and spend time with family and friends!

Leah is a sophomore English major with minors in Philosophy and Sociology. She has a soft spot for fiction writing and greatly enjoys school. She plans to get her Masters at UM before moving on to a PhD, and eventually plans to teach at the college level.
